Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience as an armed security guard, law enforcement officer, or U.S. Armed Forces member
  • Successful completion or willingness to complete Texas approved security officer training
  • Possession or willingness to obtain Texas state permits and directives to act as non-commissioned officer and carry weapons
  • U.S. citizenship with valid social security card and state driver’s license
  • Ability to meet medical and physical standards
  • Successful background screening and suitability
  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Licensed commissioned officer
  • Valid TWIC card
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk unassisted for at least 500 yards on uneven terrain
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds
  • Must be mentally alert and capable of good judgment
  • Ability to write accurate and clear reports

Job Qualifications

  • Possess minimum of three years of experience within the last five years as an armed security guard, law enforcement officer, or member of United States Armed Forces
  • Three years of knowledge and experience in law enforcement and/or security guard service procedures including maritime procedures and managing security personnel under MARSEC levels
  • Successful completion of Texas approved security officer training courses
  • Willingness to obtain required Texas state permits and directives to act as a non-commissioned officer
  • U.S. citizen with social security card and valid state driver’s license
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet medical and physical standards outlined in the contract
  • Successful completion of background screening and suitability requirements
  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, understand and carry out oral and written direction, write clear reports
  • Licensed as commissioned officers
  • Possession of valid TWIC card
  • Completion of Texas approved armed security guard training courses
  • Possession of required Texas permits and directives to carry a weapon
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Job Duties

  • Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
  • Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors
  • Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors
  • Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations
  • Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols
  • Complete all reports and paperwork as required
  • Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with company guidance
  • Maintain physical fitness and agility requirements
  • Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices
  • Support safety programs Participate in Quality and Process Improvement programs
  • Operate and monitor all SOC telephone, texting, radio and intercom communication systems, as well as SOC Life Safety, Access Control and related sub-systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
