Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • frequent lifting and carrying of food trays, glassware, and supplies up to 25 lbs
  • occasional lifting of heavier banquet trays or wine cases up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • manual dexterity for handling glassware, silverware, and wine service tools
  • ability to navigate dining room spaces efficiently and safely while carrying trays
  • clear vision and hearing to interact with guests and staff in varying environments

Job Qualifications

  • Previous upscale dining server experience required
  • strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and upscale food service techniques
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
  • food handler and responsible beverage service certification required or ability to obtain upon hire

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive, gracious, and personalized service to all guests in a fine dining setting
  • present menus, answer questions, and make knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, wine pairings, and specialty cocktails
  • accurately take food and beverage orders, input into POS system, and ensure timely delivery of all items
  • maintain knowledge of daily specials, seasonal offerings, and chef-driven features
  • uphold elevated etiquette, including proper serving sequences, table maintenance, and polished presentation standards
  • partner with culinary and bar teams to ensure flawless guest experiences
  • maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of assigned sections
  • handle guest concerns and requests with professionalism and urgency, escalating issues when necessary
  • assist with side work, restocking, polishing glassware and silverware, and setting up service stations
  • ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
