Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale kitchen environment
  • strong understanding of classic and modern cooking techniques
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • excellent knife skills and proficiency with kitchen equipment
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items with consistency and precision, following established recipes and presentation guidelines
  • maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • monitor inventory levels and assist with food preparation, storage, and rotation to minimize waste
  • work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume, fine dining environment while upholding quality and presentation standards
  • assist with receiving and inspecting ingredients to ensure freshness and quality
  • follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and adherence to HACCP guidelines
  • collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
  • stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to contribute to menu innovation and continuous improvement
