Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with relevant major coursework
- 5-7 years of senior management experience in a similar facility such as a sports facility or convention center
- valid State of Georgia driver's license
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to work extensive hours including weekends
- successful completion of pre-employment screening including criminal background check and drug testing
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, marketing, public relations, business administration, hospitality, or related field
- minimum of 5-7 years of senior management experience in a similar facility
- strong organizational and communication skills
- proficiency in MS Office Suite
- experience in establishing cooperative relationships with diverse communities and stakeholders
- knowledge of organizational structure and operating procedures
Job Duties
- Manage the capital budget for the arena
- direct, supervise, and schedule all operations including engineering, technical services, security, and custodian services
- develop and implement operational management systems
- plan and manage programming and event scheduling
- establish partnerships with facility tenants, promoters, production companies, and sports organizations
- oversee security operations in collaboration with the Director of Security
- develop and enforce preventive maintenance, emergency procedures, safety, and risk management policies
- negotiate contracts with vendors, unions, contractors, and service providers
