Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in event management or arena/theater operations
- Proven leadership ability managing operational teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
- 2+ years of prior relevant professional experience in event management and/or operations experience in arenas/theaters
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple operational teams
- Excellent communication and guest service skills with the ability to interact with internal teams and external partners
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced event environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Oversee front-of-house operations including ushers, ticket scanners, greeters, EVS, EMS, and other event staff
- Manage staffing plans, labor scheduling, and cost forecasting for events, including preparing estimates and post-event expense summaries
- Partner with production and security teams to advance shows and communicate operational requirements across departments
- Serve as a liaison with tour promoters, security teams, meeting planners, and convention services to coordinate event needs
- Collaborate with Box Office teams on ticketing operations and resolve ticket scanning or guest entry issues as needed
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Manage event-day setup and oversee accurate labor tracking and time reporting for assigned functions
- Lead hiring, training, and performance management for front-of-house teams while fostering a collaborative, service-focused environment
- Support continuous improvement of event operations to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency
