Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • 5 to 10 plus years of general or upper-level management experience in the elevator industry
  • Proven success managing and developing talent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and process-oriented skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and technical information

Job Duties

  • Drive and support a culture of safety throughout the Midwest Area
  • Partner with HR to build a culture that attracts and retains top talent
  • Lead Midwest Area team emphasizing empowerment and service business growth
  • Ensure operations run efficiently and cost effectively including monitoring staff performance and morale
  • Strategically review financial reports and approve operating plans to meet budget goals
  • Implement standard operational processes focusing on continuous service revenue growth
  • Support execution of initiatives and coordinate with regional and corporate departments
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and support business development activities
  • Maintain knowledge of market area including sales backlog and staffing requirements
  • Attend training to stay updated on company products and industry codes
  • Ensure managers use performance management techniques and support recruitment and employee development
