Job Duties

  • Oversees the daily operation to ensure proper staffing, efficiencies, and guest service standards are met
  • Updates route sheets according to park attendance
  • Provides work direction to team members to ensure departmental standard operating procedures are upheld and all equipment is operated within the appropriate safety guidelines
  • Responds to guest and operational issues, communicates with various operational partners, and is the first responder to operational and guest situations
  • Oversees the upkeep of daily, weekly, and monthly cleanliness tracking and rating documents and reports
  • Ensures the safety of guests and team members by reviewing and revising safety practices and procedures and responding to potentially unsafe conditions
  • Performs daily opening and closing operational duties including checklists and paperwork for readiness and safety
  • Inspects the work environment to ensure proper supplies are stocked and areas are clean and organized
  • Schedules daily break and lunch periods to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Coaches and documents safe team member actions according to Universal Destinations and Experiences policy
  • Develops, coaches, and trains park services team members
  • Manages daily labor budgets and adjusts staffing according to attendance projections
  • Creates venue schedules incorporating availability, meetings, and training programs for approval
  • Monitors, tracks, and records overtime and training projections and results
  • Analyzes and responds to guest comments and incident reports
  • Ensures team members meet service standards and assist guests while maintaining a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment
  • Implements team member satisfaction and guest service initiatives
  • Maintains positive relationships with other departments
  • Responsible for maintaining quality, cleanliness, and facility maintenance standards to ensure the resort is show ready
  • Participates in environmental, health, and safety responsibilities by following established policy and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
