Job Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of hotel front desk, night audit, or customer service experience required
  • Experience using Opera Cloud Property Management System preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of front desk operations, reservation systems such as Opera Cloud PMS, and guest service protocols
  • Ability to lead, train, and support front office staff while handling guest concerns professionally and urgently
  • Experience in hotel front desk or customer service roles, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, multitasking, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in service recovery situations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Lead the daily front office operations to ensure efficient, friendly, and family-focused service during check-in, check-out, and guest stay
  • Lead opening and closing procedures and maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office
  • Create and manage team member schedules for manager approval, monitor and adjust for overtime
  • Support and coach front desk team members with on-the-job training and service excellence
  • Resolve guest issues and service recovery situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Ensure accurate handling of reservations, room assignments, billing, and guest requests using Opera Cloud PMS
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and maintain a show-ready front office
  • Oversee training and assist new team members to ensure successful completion of training and operational proficiency
  • Actively participate in environmental, health, and safety responsibilities by adhering to established policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
