Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years hotel sales manager experience preferably with a major brand such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG etc.
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to represent company and hotels in a professional manner at all times
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet sales activity and revenue goals
- Must pass criminal background check

Job Duties
- Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations
- Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to maximize revenue and build customer loyalty
- Utilizes and leverages franchise tools effectively and efficiently
- Creates rapport with hotel leadership and associates through frequent hotel visits
- Conducts meet and greets, hotel tours and site inspections for potential customers on hotel property
- Develops and builds relationships within the local community to strengthen and expand customer base
- Completes proactive selling tasks including but not limited to prospecting, networking, and outside face to face sales calls
- Creates effective and compelling client electronic correspondence
- Performs other duties as assigned by Area Director of Sales
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position
