Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
- Minimum 2000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1500 hours helicopter time
- Minimum 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- Minimum 500 hours turbine time
- Night flying experience as specified
- Ability to meet 230 pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Willingness to comply with all federal, state, and municipal aviation regulations
Job Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine flight time
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours aided
- Previous HEMS experience or equivalent preferred
- One year experience as a pilot with a GMR company preferred
- Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibits professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with strict adherence to the Rotorcraft Flight Manual
- Monitors and responds to forecast changes and current weather conditions
- Conducts thorough preflight inspections before shifts and flight acceptance, reporting discrepancies and coordinating corrective maintenance
- Reports major malfunctions, aircraft damage, or personnel injury promptly to the Operations Center
- Maintains the aircraft in a clean and ready state for medical transport
- Submits all necessary documentation accurately and punctually
- Supports Base Line Pilots by providing flexible relief coverage across assigned and regional bases
