Job Requirements
- Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
- Minimum of 2000 hours total flight time
- Minimum of 1500 hours helicopter flight time
- Minimum of 1000 hours pilot in command helicopter time
- Minimum of 500 hours turbine time
- Minimum of 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided flight experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Weight limit of 230 pounds dressed in flight suit and boots
Job Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Previous HEMS experience or equivalent preferred
- Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in fast paced environment
- Exhibits professionalism, is ethical and able to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
Job Duties
- Operate the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with compliance to rotorcraft flight manual
- Monitor forecast changes and current weather situations
- Conduct preflight inspections of the aircraft prior to shift and flights
- Note and report discrepancies in the engineering log and notify maintenance
- Report major malfunctions, aircraft damage, or injured personnel to Operations Center promptly
