Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- Minimum 5 years payroll management experience preferably in hospitality
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with multi-property payroll coordination
- Proficiency in payroll software UKG, Hotel Effectiveness, Evention
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours in a 24-hour operational environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise
Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of payroll management experience preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
- Experience managing payroll for multiple locations or properties
- Proficiency with payroll software systems such as UKG, Hotel Effectiveness, and Evention
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- Well-versed in accounting principles
- Exemplary communication, math, leadership, and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong Excel skills
- Flexible to meet 24-hour operation demands
Job Duties
- Oversee payroll processing for all employees across multiple hotel properties ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage complex payroll schedules including salaried, hourly, and seasonal employees with variable pay structures
- Verify timesheets, employee hours, and tip allocation to ensure accuracy
- Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations and wage laws
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with auditing standards
- Submit payroll taxes, insurance filings, and other compliance documents on time
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for financial insights and discrepancies
