Job Requirements

  • Support and promote Saxbys mission and core values
  • At least 2 years of proven leadership experience or 6 months as a Saxbys student leader
  • Food and beverage or retail experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated passion for hospitality
  • Ability to manage teams and processes effectively
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stand, walk, and smile for extended periods
  • Capability to stoop and kneel
  • Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 35 pounds
  • Comfortable ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in customer-facing environments
  • Experience in coaching and developing talent
  • Proven ability to manage teams and operational processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for hospitality and servant leadership
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Coaching and development of Student Chief Officers
  • Interview and hire cafe staff to maintain full operational coverage
  • Ensure adherence to cafe standards and operational procedures
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain hospitality culture
  • Manage financial oversight including scheduling, labor costs, and profit and loss reviews
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and approval processes
  • Act as primary liaison with college and university campus partners
  • Manage cafe openings and collaborate across departments
  • Monitor local industry trends and competitive marketplace conditions
