Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
  • 6-12 months sales, marketing and/or restaurant experience
  • valid drivers license

Job Duties

  • Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and individual customers
  • samples products with existing and potential customers
  • plans general sales strategy including time and territory management
  • plans sales approach with individual customers
  • conducts effective sales presentations
  • grows sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis to meet established sales and margin goals
  • sets up new customer accounts by determining pricing
  • works with Credit Department for initial authorization
  • coordinates scheduling for order-taking and deliveries
  • ensures customer satisfaction by working closely with center personnel to resolve problems
  • may make emergency deliveries
  • builds additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability
  • monitors accounts receivable for compliance with credit terms and follows up on issues
  • maintains awareness of pricing trends within sales territory
  • performs other related duties as assigned
