Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years progressive leadership experience in food and beverage management
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- experience partnering with HR on employee relations
- ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data
- availability to travel 3-4 days per week
- must office from assigned home store location
- commitment to fostering inclusive and welcoming environments
- demonstrated ability to lead multi-unit teams to achieve business results
Job Qualifications
- Skilled leader and coach with progressive management experience in food and beverage multi-unit operations
- ability to model strong communication and influencing skills
- experience with employee relations and partnering with HR
- ability to analyze financial outcomes and KPIs to identify opportunities
- 5+ years of experience in multiple food and beverage operations as a culinary or management leader
- proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary leader for restaurants and specialty coffee bars in assigned geography
- role model and uphold Nordstrom Values across the geography
- develop and maintain a high-performing management team
- develop internal pipeline of talent for leadership roles
- support leaders in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for employees
- consistently assess and support food-safe and pest-free environment
- provide timely and consistent performance conversations and accountability
- manage profit and loss statements for assigned locations
- analyze KPIs and support leaders in creating action plans
- support execution of restaurant group priorities and financial goals
- build and maintain relationships with store and regional business partners
- collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, marketing, events, visual, construction, and facilities
- partner with HR to investigate and resolve employee relations issues
- plan and execute purposeful time and travel visits
