  • 6-12 months sales, marketing, or restaurant experience

Job Duties

  • Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and individual customers
  • samples products with existing and potential customers
  • plans general sales strategy including time and territory management
  • plans sales approach with individual customers
  • conducts effective sales presentations
  • grows sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis to meet established sales and margin goals
  • sets up new customer accounts by determining pricing
  • works with Credit Department for initial authorization
  • collaborates with other center personnel for scheduling order-taking and deliveries
  • performs initial follow-up work with customers to ensure delivery and product satisfaction
  • ensures customer satisfaction by providing exemplary service and coordinating with center personnel to prevent and resolve problems
  • may deliver products in emergency situations
  • builds additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize account profitability
  • monitors accounts for compliance with credit terms and follows up on any issues
  • maintains awareness of pricing trends within sales territory, especially for market-driven or commodity products
  • performs other related duties as assigned
