Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5-7 years management and food industry experience
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays and nights
- Position must be performed full-time onsite at NBCUniversal-designated location
- Must have strong leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to manage multiple high volume restaurants
- Knowledge of P&L management and budget compliance
- Must adhere to food safety and labor regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Point of Service systems
- Ability to develop revenue and growth plans
- Experience in union environment preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced team environment
- Must demonstrate ethical judgment and guest-focused problem solving
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Undergraduate Degree in Hospitality or Business preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years management and food industry experience with multiple large high volume food service operations exceeding over $15M in sales
- Available to work weekends, holidays and nights
- Full-time onsite work at NBCUniversal-designated worksite
- Proven leadership ability coaching and mentoring large teams
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and food-related Point of Service systems (EATEC, Clarity)
- Demonstrated success in cost control and profit maximization
- Experience in guest service issue resolution
- Ability to work in high paced, repetitive team environment
- Theme park experience preferred
- Experience managing in a union environment
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Direct the operation of 8-12 quick service branded restaurants with sales volume ranging from 20M-30M per year
- Implement strategic planning to optimize restaurant profits while adhering to quality, cleanliness and guest service standards
- Create and foster a cohesive team through organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring and coaching skills
- Manage restaurant and food service P&L including labor, food and beverage costs, financial metrics and venue budgets
- Support internal customers to ensure excellent products and services to paying guests
- Develop and implement guest satisfaction (GSAT) and team satisfaction (TSAT) action plans
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws regarding food quality, safety, labor, employment and Union guidelines
- Partner with Human Resources for training, development and promotion of restaurant teams
- Collaborate with Shared Services, training and culinary teams for new venue planning and product roll-outs
- Work with Quality Assurance to maintain safe food handling practices and train teams accordingly
- Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary recommendations and succession planning
- Control costs to maintain or exceed weekly budgeted operational profit
- Maintain safety, guest service, cleanliness and food quality standards
- Monitor daily business performance and recommend strategies to maximize trends
- Communicate departmental and corporate objectives to managers
- Report challenges to Senior Management with improvement recommendations
- Analyze restaurant performance daily to exceed annual cash flow targets
- Review schedules and staffing levels to maintain a competent and motivated team
- Ensure a Person in Charge is present for all areas during park operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
