Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 24 months sales, marketing and/or restaurant experience
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and individual customers
  • Samples products with existing and potential customers
  • Plans general sales strategy including time and territory management
  • Plans sales approach with individual customers
  • Conducts effective sales presentations
  • Grows sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis to meet established sales and margin goals
  • Sets up new customer accounts by determining pricing and working with Credit Department and other personnel
  • Performs initial follow-up work with customer ensuring delivery and product satisfaction
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by coordinating with center personnel to prevent and resolve customer problems
  • Makes deliveries in emergency situations as needed
  • Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration
  • Monitors accounts for compliance with credit terms and follows up on any issues
  • Maintains awareness of pricing trends within sales territory
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
