Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain required
- Minimum 3 years of progressive food and beverage experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
- Ability to communicate well with all levels inside and outside the organization
- Ability to problem-solve with team members and guests
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly during shifts
- Ability to lift, transport, and connect a keg weighing up to 150 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Ability to work extended hours based on business needs involving physical activities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain
- Minimum 3 years progressive food and beverage experience
- At least 1 year supervisory or management experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items with assistance
- Preferred 2+ years supervisory experience in a similar hotel brand or setting
- Knowledge of culinary operations, restaurant, banquet, and beverage service
- Familiarity with tableside service
Job Duties
- Leads food and beverage staff to ensure efficient operations and achievement of business goals
- Attends meetings and communicates effectively with staff to meet guest and team member needs
- Ensures guest satisfaction by upholding food and beverage service standards and addressing complaints promptly and courteously
- Trains and models guest service standards alongside team members
- Interviews, hires, coaches, and develops team members
- Evaluates staff performance and implements corrective actions when necessary
- Motivates team by setting goals, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements
- Manages financial goals including revenue targets, expense control, and profitability
- Oversees labor management through scheduling and budget adherence
- Conducts inspections to maintain quality and safety standards per company and regulatory requirements
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Communicates clearly and promotes a positive, professional atmosphere
- Attends departmental and hotel meetings to ensure effective planning and communication
- Adheres to company standard operating procedures
