Job Requirements

  • Minimum of four years experience in revenue management
  • completion of four-year college degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
  • advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • computer proficiency including knowledge of Hotel RMS, CRS, GDS and PMS
  • adaptable interpersonal and communication skills
  • professional English language proficiency in reading, writing and verbal communication
  • Denver location preferred with possible remote option for ideal candidate

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years experience in revenue management
  • proven background as Area Director of Revenue Management
  • advanced knowledge of hotel PMS, CRS, RMS systems
  • proficiency in revenue forecasting and budgeting
  • strong analytical and financial acumen
  • effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • experience working with independent and branded hotels
  • ability to lead multi-property revenue strategies
  • familiarity with IDeaS RMS, Infor HMS and Windsurfer CRS preferred
  • professional proficiency in English

Job Duties

  • Uphold and role model company principles of People, Place and Character
  • lead hotel yielding efforts ensuring weekly mining of all segments and distribution channels for revenue opportunities
  • configure and manage revenue management system, central reservation system, property management system and distribution platforms
  • manage day to day revenue activities including reporting, rate loading and yielding
  • prepare weekly and monthly forecasts and develop and present the annual budget
  • identify and communicate demand periods for strategic planning and execution
  • analyze competitive pricing trends, adjust strategies to meet or exceed RevPAR goals
  • develop strategies to achieve or exceed monthly RevPAR index goals
  • review and manage OTA distribution channel performance to optimize revenue
  • collaborate with Director of Sales on rate quoting strategy for negotiated RFP season
  • ensure accuracy and consistent management of all reservation activity and distribution content
  • lead weekly revenue strategy meetings with hotel teams to review performance and action items
  • maintain 100 percent accuracy in room and rate availability across channels per RMS strategy
  • demonstrate drive and determination in completing assigned tasks and projects
  • perform accountabilities efficiently following company policy
