Job Requirements
- Experience of at least five years in repair, maintenance or construction
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance preferred
- Ability to lead and manage engineering team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with hotel leadership and ownership
- Physical ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate heavy machinery
- Willingness to comply with attendance rules and work regularly
- Pass background check
Job Qualifications
- Experience of at least five years in repair, maintenance or construction, preferably with hotel maintenance experience
- Ability to lead and manage an engineering team
- Strong project management and budgeting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Physical ability to handle job requirements including lifting and operating machinery
Job Duties
- Perform general maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained
- Lead and manage engineering team
- Partner with hotel leadership in project management, budgeting and completion of all necessary repairs and upgrades
- Attend budget meetings and participate in hotel planning
- Report necessary maintenance issues to hotel management and area general manager
- Direct engineering projects at multiple hotel properties
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders
- Check and repair electrical systems and hotel equipment
- Service hotel pool including chemical adjustments and cleaning
- Maintain building exterior and landscaping
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms
- Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints and requests
- Operate heavy machinery
- Comply with attendance rules and be available regularly
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
