Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of management and leadership experience in a multi-unit management role
  • proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • adept written, verbal, and relational communication skills
  • strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • solid financial and analytical skills with experience driving sales and profits
  • ability to set realistic objectives and implement necessary steps to achieve them
  • knowledge of management recruitment, selection, and training principles
  • knowledge of local and state health and safety compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but may be replaced with consistent work and leadership experience
  • ability to travel 50% of the time

Job Duties

  • Builds and leads high performing management teams
  • recruits, retains and develops a knowledgeable, passionate talent pool to support company growth while driving an elevated guest experience and accountability to results
  • leads the management of healthy P&L statements for all Shacks in area to ensure progressive financial success
  • drives consistent General Manager collaboration to identify and capture fluctuating business needs and create clear targets for revenue growth and cost control
  • empowers and develops leaders to act in a manner consistent with the Shack Pact, goals, and culture
  • ensures area is working towards impactful targets around talent development, succession planning, community involvement, and employee retention
  • serves as the liaison between Home Office and management team by prioritizing communications, filtering messaging, and providing insight and direction on systems and process implementation
  • anticipates guest feedback and actively identifies area trends to drive GM accountability plans and consistent excellent guest experience
  • prioritizes compliance and protects the brand by maintaining understanding of risks and driving consistent audit practices
  • establishes and maintains community partnerships to enhance brand presence and secure loyalty
  • completes regular Shack visits to validate compliance regulations, KPI results, and uphold a safe environment for team members and guests
