Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to read, speak and comprehend English
  • minimum education 4-year degree preferred
  • 2 years multi-unit experience preferred
  • 5 years demonstrated restaurant operations experience required
  • must maintain current health card according to state or local requirements
  • must have reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance
  • must pass criminal background check including motor vehicle record
  • must pass and maintain Serve-Safe certification

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated restaurant operations experience
  • 2 years of multi-unit experience preferred
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • excellent leadership and coaching skills

  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to motivate and develop teams
  • knowledge of restaurant financial controls and operations
  • Serve-Safe certification required or ability to obtain

Job Duties

  • Coach and support restaurants by providing timely and consistent development
  • ensure general managers provide appropriate development for assistant managers and other team staff
  • encourage management teams to improve performance
  • utilize restaurant visit routines as a forum for discussion and coaching
  • hold regular area meetings to demonstrate teamwork
  • build people capability through execution of the Bench Plan
  • ensure all general managers and assistant managers are Serve-Safe certified
  • ensure all team members and managers are certified for their role based on company standards
  • effectively communicate brand culture and strategy to restaurant teams and district office
  • discuss company goals and performance in sales meetings and rallies and ensure engagement of the entire team
  • function as a team builder and coach and eliminate communication barriers
  • manage controllable expenses to plan and ensure financial controls are met
  • ensure area-wide consistency in execution of all marketing programs
  • develop core learnings and standards and use coaching plans to drive restaurant visit agendas
  • handle customer concerns promptly and help management teams resolve issues
  • recognize and reward customer mania behavior
  • drive restaurant operations to achieve or exceed standard results
  • hold general managers and assistant managers accountable for growing sales and executing standard processes
  • monitor success daily using area coach tools
  • create and maintain a positive community image
  • ensure ICOS processes are executed in restaurants
  • use operating measures to monitor profit variables
  • review management and team member schedules weekly for effectiveness
  • enforce brand control procedures for cash management and shift drawer accountability
  • analyze business using profit and loss reports and establish tactics for improvement
  • conduct period and quarterly business reviews to improve performance
