Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Assistant Room Chef or Room Chef in a hotel operation
  • Ability to obtain required licenses or certificates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Direct and support culinary and sanitation team members during assigned shifts
  • Enforce tasks and standards given by the Executive Chef
  • Oversee performance and coordination of work within the team
  • Ensure compliance with Clark County Health Department standards
  • Manage team member schedules and staffing levels according to budget
  • Handle guest and team member concerns in written and verbal form
  • Coach and counsel team members not meeting performance standards
