Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in catering sales hospitality or related field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and priorities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer functions
  • Experience with Sales Pro is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to present information effectively in small group settings

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage all catering operations including guest service soliciting new accounts negotiating contracts and marketing catering services
  • Plan and execute catering events ensuring client satisfaction and successful event outcomes
  • Control catering expenses through effective negotiation and cost control measures
  • Accurately forecast catering revenues and assist with budgeting and systems management
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless event execution and communication
  • Evaluate guest needs and industry trends to adjust services and operations for market competitiveness and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor client feedback and satisfaction scores ensuring high standards in service food quality and event execution
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs before and after events
  • Adhere to all federal state and local regulations as well as company policies
