Job Requirements
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and exert up to 20 pounds of force regularly
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years hospitality or hotel work experience in a four-diamond full-service or boutique hotel preferred
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience in high guest turnover settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
Job Duties
- Ensure rooms meet the four diamond cleanliness and presentation standards before guest check-in
- Meticulously prepare guest rooms to the highest standards of luxury
- Curate an inviting ambiance by making beds with crisp linens, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furnishings
- Perform deep cleaning as needed
- Keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and clean, disposing of trash and recyclables appropriately
- Prepare housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use and report guest-borrowed items to supervisor
- Perform all tasks in compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety standards
- Provide a high level of customer service, engaging with guests and responding to special requests
- Maintain professional demeanor and confidentiality in guest interactions
- Report lost and found items and maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with all hotel staff to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Complete daily activity log for coworkers and leadership
- Support peer onboarding and uphold cleanliness and service standards
- Provide input on supply shortages and operational improvements
- Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability
