Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • minimum 5+ years second level multi-restaurant management experience, preferably with a national chain restaurant
  • 3-5+ years of supervision of multi-restaurant leaders
  • ability to travel within assigned area and throughout the organization as requested
  • superior eye for business with demonstrated analytical skills
  • excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
  • demonstrated analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills
  • superior organization and self-management skills
  • ability to manage and lead others, integrate change, and build a diverse and effective team
  • demonstrated leadership skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • demonstrated positive team-oriented demeanor
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods without break
  • ability to work at a fast pace with potential exposure to various environmental elements

Job Duties

  • Interview and select Area Directors and Restaurant General Managers
  • support and monitor Area Directors throughout their training program
  • create an inclusive work environment valuing all associates and promoting work/life balance
  • lead performance with regular coaching, development plan reviews, recognition, and impartial reward decisions
  • act as a role model championing brand standards
  • set stretch goals, assign authority and accountability, and hold self and others accountable for performance
  • creatively choose options and tactics to increase sales and drive operational efficiency
  • anticipate problems and develop adaptable responses
  • create and maintain an environment of trust focusing on safety and asset protection
  • fully participate in company learning activities and seek personal growth
  • maintain high standards of integrity consistent with company values
  • use systems and metrics to perform gap analysis
  • facilitate Period Business Reviews with Area Directors to analyze financial results and implement strategies
  • participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with executive leadership
  • communicate changes openly, build support for initiatives, encourage feedback, anticipate resistance, explain rationale, and follow up on change management
