Job Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older
Certification in First Aid, CPR and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training
Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
Ability to swim 50 yards and retrieve a 10 lb brick from the bottom of the pool
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to work in humid, warm environment and be immersed in water
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 to 100 lbs
Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs

Job Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older
Certification in First Aid, CPR and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training
Good oral communication skills
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Demonstrated leadership experience with team-oriented approach
2+ years experience in aquatics operations including lifeguarding, training, swim instruction, and CPO/AFO certification

Job Duties

Assist in the training, supervision, and coordination of lifeguards with park management
Manage lifeguards in assigned area enforcing rules and safety regulations
Follow and enforce established park and employee policies and procedures
Perform supervisory tasks including conflict resolution, coaching, and development of team members
Promote teamwork and manage performance of lifeguard staff
