Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in recreation, sports management, or related field preferred
- Two years of experience in the recreation field required
- Two years of supervisory experience required
- Any combination of education and experience totaling four years may be considered
- Current certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid required
- Valid South Carolina driver's license required

Job Duties
- Administers and supervises the activities and personnel of the Aquatics Division
- Interviews, hires, trains, schedules, and oversees lifeguards and head lifeguards
- Plans, organizes, promotes, and evaluates aquatic programs including swim lessons, camps, and pool parties
- Ensures pool rules, regulations, and safety standards are followed by patrons and enforced by staff
- Responds to inquiries and concerns from swimmers, parents, and the public
- Coordinates and manages rental contracts with local swim teams, swim school, and books rentals for private parties and events
- Utilizes RecDesk software for program registration, roster management, daily deposits, payments, and membership administration
