Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 17 years of age
- Previous experience or training in cash handling or bookkeeping
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages
- Current Texas Driver’s license
- Availability to work between noon and 7:00 pm including weekends
- Ability to work part-time
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 17 years of age
- Experience or training in basic bookkeeping skills or running a cash register or cash drawer
- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Positive and caring attitude
- Ability to interact effectively with people of all ages
- Ability to provide information and communicate with the Aquatic Supervisor and Parks and Recreation Department
Job Duties
- Responsible for assisting in maintaining and enforcing pool safety
- Responsible for accepting fees and accounting for fees received
- Responsible for answering the phone
- Responsible for explaining basic pool rules
- Responsible for providing information regarding facility use and hours of operation
- Responsible for conflict and customer relations
- Responsible for assisting in general maintenance and clean-up of activities/facilities/restrooms
- Responsible for the property of the City of Harker Heights Aquatics Center
- Responsible for submitting reports to Pool Supervisor on accidents, damage to facilities and equipment, and complaints from facility users
- Attendance is an essential function of the job
- Exhibits the City of Harker Heights’ Core Values
