Job Requirements

Minimum age of 17 years
experience or training in basic bookkeeping or cash register operation
good communication skills
interpersonal skills
organizational skills
positive and caring attitude
ability to interact with all pool users
ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and department staff
current Texas Driver's license
availability to work between noon and 7:00 PM including weekends

Job Duties

Assist in maintaining and enforcing pool safety
accept and account for fees received
answer phone inquiries
explain basic pool rules
provide information regarding facility use and hours of operation
handle conflict and customer relations
assist in general maintenance and clean-up of activities, facilities, and restrooms
safeguard property of the City of Harker Heights Aquatics Center
submit reports on accidents, facility damage, and complaints to Pool Supervisor
exhibit City of Harker Heights' core values
