Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience in swim programming or equivalent combination of education and experience
- proven leadership and administrative skills
- experience with diverse populations
- strong conflict resolution and communication abilities
- must maintain CPR, First Aid, AED, and BBP certifications, training provided if needed
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- compliance with Minnesota driver’s license rules if applicable
Job Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years experience in swim programming or equivalent experience and education
- proven track record of managing programs, leading teams, and handling administrative tasks
- experience working with diverse populations across socioeconomic backgrounds
- strong conflict management and communication skills
- ability and willingness to maintain current CPR, First Aid, AED, and BBP certifications
- valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- ability to meet V3 Sports driving record requirements
Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day V3 Sports aquatic programs
- recruit, hire, train, and supervise aquatic staff focusing on development and retention
- manage activities in Genesis Pool and enforce rules in Hydrotherapy Pool
- oversee Swim2Learn lesson program operations
- ensure lifeguard program meets or exceeds American Red Cross standards
- plan, promote, and execute special events
- foster collaborations with schools, organizations, and community partners for aquatic programming
- manage aquatic program budget and coordinate with Director of Facilities for annual budgeting
- refine Emergency Action Plan for aquatic facilities
- manage employee performance, training, communication, and disciplinary actions
- handle hiring, job descriptions, shift assignments, and compliance with hiring protocols
- maintain effective employee relations and safe work environment
- process resignations, terminations, and layoff actions
- review and approve leave, overtime requests, and timecards
- maintain accurate personnel records in Human Resources Management System
- establish and maintain community partnerships and attend outreach events
