Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • high school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of prior relevant experience preferably in a resort setting
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
  • basic knowledge of beverage preparation is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist the bartender with drink preparation including mixes and garnishes
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar area
  • keep the bar stocked with alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, supplies, and garnishes
  • set up, label, and organize bar items such as glasses, paper products, and ice
  • clean and polish equipment, tools, and glassware
  • ensure all equipment is in working condition
  • perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment
  • provide excellent service to guests, identify their needs, and create memorable experiences
  • handle guest inquiries and complaints within scope or escalate to management when necessary
