Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain non-gaming card
- Ability to obtain alcohol awareness card
- Ability to obtain food handling card
Job Qualifications
- Basic understanding of bartender work and/or drink preparation
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- At least 6 months of previous experience working in a similar bar or restaurant setting preferred
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting preferred
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner
- Ensure the bar is properly stocked with supplies necessary for service
- Replenish ice coolers, garnish trays, straws, and napkins holders
- Ensure bar equipment and supplies are clean and in working order
- Assist with inventories and requisitions to restock bar items
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards
- Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
