Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- at least six months previous apprentice bartender experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- basic knowledge of common drink recipes within the industry
- ability to handle a cash bank
- excellent communication and guest service skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- required work cards: Alcohol Awareness, Health, Non-Gaming, Gaming
- physical ability to walk, stand or stoop 75% of the time
- ability to communicate via radios
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- vision, hearing, speech and literacy required
Job Qualifications
- At least one year previous apprentice bartender experience within the past 3 years preferred
- at least six months previous apprentice bartender experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- must have basic knowledge of common drink recipes within the industry
- ability to handle a cash bank
- excellent communication and guest service skills required

Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional guest service as defined by Stratosphere
- maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors and line equipment
- receive, issue and keep necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies
- assist bartenders with mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures
- refill and stock garnishes and glassware
- follow cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures
- follow cash and comp procedures
- maintain appropriate sound and music levels as designated by management
- maintain appropriate television programming as designated by management
- perform other duties as assigned
