Job Requirements
- At least one year previous apprentice bartender experience within the past 3 years preferred
- At least six months previous apprentice bartender experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have basic knowledge of common drink recipes within the industry
- Ability to handle a cash bank
- Excellent communication and guest service skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Alcohol Awareness work card
- Health work card
- Non-Gaming work card
- Gaming work card
- Walking, standing or stooping (75% of the time)
- Ability to communicate via radios
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical)
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional guest service as defined by Stratosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors and line equipment
- Receive, issue and keep necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies
- Assist bartenders with mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures
- Refill and stock garnishes and glassware
- Follow cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures
- Follow cash and comp procedures
- Maintain appropriate sound and music levels as designated by management
- Maintain appropriate television programming as designated by management
- Performs other duties as assigned
