Job Requirements

  • Intermediate user proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to navigate ladders and work in cramped spaces
  • Flexible schedule with potential for variable hours from 30 to 50+ per week
  • Must be available for travel within the market and to training locations
  • Must provide own insured vehicle
  • Ability to work overnight and early morning hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience with restaurant operations
  • Good working knowledge of POS systems
  • Intermediate user level with Microsoft Office products
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Effective presentation and response skills
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret various forms of instructions
  • Well organized with multitasking ability
  • A+ certification is a plus
  • Dell Certified Technician certification is a plus
  • Microsoft Office Specialist certification is a plus
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide first-level hardware and software support for restaurant POS systems
  • Install and configure PCs, laptops, printers, and related hardware
  • Assist and collaborate with vendor personnel and IT Help Desks for issue resolution
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs on POS hardware
  • Oversee credit card software testing and verify hardware compatibility
  • Maintain and monitor spare equipment and supply inventory for restaurants
  • Support restaurant openings, remodels, and technology upgrades
  • Respond to help desk calls and distribute second-level support appropriately
  • Participate in testing new POS hardware and software upgrades
  • Maintain documentation of software and hardware settings
