Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in restaurant operations and POS systems
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work flexible hours including overnight or early morning as needed
  • ability to travel within the market and to training locations
  • must have a vehicle with insurance
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • capability to work in confined spaces and on ladders

Job Qualifications

  • strong knowledge of restaurant operations
  • experience with POS systems
  • intermediate user level with Microsoft Office products
  • good communication skills
  • ability to analyze and interpret technical information
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • ability to present information effectively
  • well organized and able to multitask
  • familiarity with mathematical concepts relevant to the role
  • A+ Certification is a plus
  • Dell Certified Technician is a plus
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification is a plus
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician Certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide first-level hardware and software support for Applebee's restaurant systems
  • Assist remote users with hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, POS terminals, and network devices
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing of hardware and software
  • Collaborate with vendors for repairs and software updates
  • Support restaurant openings and remodels technology setup
  • Manage help desk calls and escalate issues appropriately
