- Intermediate user level with Microsoft Office products

- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
- Problem-solving skills to deal with practical and variable situations
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Well organized with multitasking capabilities
- A+ Certification is a plus
- Dell Certified Technician is a plus
- Microsoft Office Specialist Certification is a plus
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide first level hardware support and POS software support for restaurant units
- Act as first level hardware and software support contact for remote users
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and related hardware
- Investigate hardware problems and perform system hardware repairs as necessary
- Assist in testing application software including VPN connectivity and router installation
- Oversee and assist in POS hardware installations and credit card software testing
- Support Flynn Applebee's custom applications and provide first level application support to unit managers
- Maintain restaurant openings checklist and monitor stock levels for spare equipment and supplies
- Process invoices for stock and supplies
- Take first level help desk calls and distribute second level calls appropriately
- Maintain knowledge of POS hardware, BOH server hardware, and internet connectivity hardware
- Provide on-call support during business hours and be available for onsite visits
- Travel within Market and to Support Center for training as required
