Job Requirements

  • Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
  • able to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to transport and carry objects such as a high chair or booster seat
  • ability to wipe, sweep and carry plates to kitchen
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • able to lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds
  • specific vision abilities including close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • comfortable working in a team environment
  • flexible and willing to accept change

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests as they enter and depart the restaurant and hold the door open for guests
  • seat guests according to the established plan and guests' needs
  • keep host/hostess stand and waiting area clean
  • ensure menus remain clean and stocked
  • complete restroom checks and refill paper products in bathrooms as needed
  • sanitize and wipe down all tables and sweep the area as needed and reset the table
  • assist servers when needed by taking the initial drink order or running food to the guests in the dining room
  • complete daily opening and closing work to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and TEAM
