Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in hot and damp environments
- Ability to wear protective coverings and use disinfectants throughout shift
- Availability for full-time or part-time employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced environment is an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Physical stamina to perform required duties
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to company recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and other team members
- Follow health and safety regulations including proper use of disinfectants and protective equipment
- Lift and handle ingredients and equipment safely
- Participate in training and development activities to improve skills
