Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- physical ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- effective reading and writing skills
- finger and hand dexterity for equipment use
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve safe food certification a plus
- serve safe alcohol certification a plus
- proven leadership and team management skills
- strong problem-solving abilities
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work under pressure
- knowledge of inventory and cost control
- understanding of health and safety regulations
- ability to train and develop staff
- proficiency in restaurant operations technology
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact with required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- performs line checks to ensure product preparation and presentation
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains safety and security programs
- promotes restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals
- leads training procedures for new managers
- maintains a trained staff with effective orientation and training
- documents and assesses employee performance
- monitors and documents disciplinary actions
- assures compliance with company policies
- controls costs in assigned departments
- complies with local, state, and federal regulations
- drives bi-weekly/weekly inventories
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- ensures sanitation standards meet health and company standards
- acts as a role model for managers and employees
- develops self on store technology
- operates in all positions and assists team members as needed
- utilizes the Management Development Program for leadership growth
