Job Requirements

  • Passion for culinary arts
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a culinary position
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines
  • ServSafe Certificate or ability to complete within 30 days
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Conversational English proficiency
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Physical ability to lift, balance, and carry 25 to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for culinary arts, experience in a range of cuisines
  • Minimum of two years' experience as an entry-level cook or higher
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety guidelines and requirements
  • ServSafe Certificate of Completion or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Introductory skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Adaptable interpersonal communication skills
  • Conversational proficiency in English in reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • Ability to calculate basic math principles to meet menu ingredient requirements and perform inventory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, balance and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods to cook required menu items

  • Foster open lines of communication within the department by actively participating in daily line ups and quarterly culinary all staff meetings, maintaining a transparent dialogue among the team to voice ideas and concerns, while course-correcting any missed opportunities
