Job Requirements
- Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime
- Able to safely store chemicals and hazardous materials
- Valid driver’s license or alternative transportation with proof of insurance if driving
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must participate in mandatory safety meetings
- Capable of physical tasks related to groundskeeping and janitorial work
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, property maintenance, or janitorial duties preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
- Ability to attend offsite meetings and perform duties at various locations
Job Duties
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property
- Ensure the property's central trash removal areas and compactors are serviced, emptied and kept clean
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure they are in working order
- Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy
- Clean light fixtures, windows, various equipment, laundry rooms, and common areas including clubhouse, recreation room, office, and fitness center
- Attend monthly safety meetings and accurately complete work records
- Store chemicals, cleaning products, and hazardous materials safely
- Maintain work, supply carts and storage areas in a neat and organized manner
- Assist with snow removal as needed
