Job Requirements
- Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime
- Must have a valid drivers license or alternative transportation
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials
- Capable of performing physical labor and maintaining equipment
- Willingness to attend offsite meetings and travel to other company locations
- Pass pre employment background check and drug screening
- Provide proof of insurance if using own vehicle for work
- Comply with E Verify program participation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks and manual labor
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Valid drivers license or ability to arrange alternative transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime
Job Duties
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property
- Ensure the propertys central trash removal areas and/or compactors are serviced, emptied and kept clean
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure they are in working order
- Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy
- Clean light fixtures, windows, various equipment, laundry rooms, etc., and clean storage and common areas including clubhouse, recreation room, office, fitness center, etc.
- Attend monthly safety meetings and accurately complete work records
- Responsible for safely storing chemicals, cleaning products and hazardous materials
- Maintain work, supply carts and storage areas in a neat and organized manner
- Assist with snow removal as needed
