Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, sports management, events management or related field
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Bound system, Hy Tek and Track Wrestling software
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in athletics management or events coordination preferred
- Experience managing social media accounts and digital communications
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of a BA in education, sports management, events management or a related field
- Proficiency in platforms such as Google Suite, Bound, Hy Tek, Track Wrestling
- Experience managing social media accounts including X and Instagram
- 1-3 years experience working in athletics management or events coordination preferred
- Strong communication skills via email, text and phone
- Ability to manage technology for events such as scoreboards and streaming platforms
- Experience coordinating events and supervising volunteers and event staff
Job Duties
- Provide administrative oversight of the athletics and activities departments for the high school and middle school including purchase orders, bill payment and cash deposits
- Oversight of the Bound management system including student registration, facility management, roster oversight, online ticketing and camp coordination
- Management of social media accounts in coordination with Activities Directors and serve as primary coordinator for print and digital media
- Manage technology for events including scoreboards, video boards and streaming platforms
- Provide flexible and responsive support during evenings, weekends and non-traditional hours
- Create, organize and supervise district athletic and activities events and schedules including K-12 activities and summer camps
- Oversee preparation and set-up of district events and serve as site manager and game/event manager as directed
- Coordinate equipment management with head coaches including sending out equipment for recertification and inventory management
- Ensure submission of coach evaluations by Activities Directors
- Manage and supervise volunteers including volunteer coaches, sponsors and ticket takers
- Manage all event staff including announcers and clock managers
- Ensure compliance with coach certification including licensure and required trainings
- Certify weekly academic eligibility
- Coordinate internal use of district facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
