Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of nonprofit development or fundraising experience
  • Experience with gift processing and donor databases
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email marketing platforms
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility for evening or weekend events

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of nonprofit development or fundraising experience
  • Experience with gift processing and donor databases such as FundraiseUp, Raiser's Edge, or DonorPerfect
  • High attention to detail with organized work style
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across fundraising functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email marketing platforms like Constant Contact or Mailchimp
  • Comfort working collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend events

Job Duties

  • Support execution of direct mail, email, and digital annual fund appeals
  • Draft and coordinate annual fund direct mail pieces including appeal letters and donor messaging
  • Write and coordinate content for annual donor newsletter and related communications
  • Assist with Giving Days, year-end fundraising, and recurring giving efforts
  • Pull lists, segment donors, and track campaign performance in CRM
  • Maintain annual fund calendars and campaign timelines
  • Generate impact reports for donors under $5,000
  • Support mid-level and leadership annual giving programs
  • Coordinate thank-you letters, emails, impact communications, and recognition lists
  • Support donor recognition efforts including annual reports and leadership societies
  • Respond to donor inquiries related to gifts and acknowledgments
  • Assist with donor meetings, tours, and engagement activities
  • Manage guest lists and RSVPs for donor stewardship events
  • Coordinate stewardship logistics and communications with Development and Events staff
  • Manage gift processing and data entry for all gift types
  • Serve as digital fundraising platforms lead expert
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with IRS policies
  • Generate and distribute tax receipts and pledge reminders
  • Maintain donor records and pledges within CRM
  • Provide backup support for high-volume gift entry
  • Support audits, compliance documentation, and data integrity
  • Document donor interactions and outreach activity
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance
  • Support event follow-up and stewardship coordination
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership
