Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to be on feet for entire shift duration
- Frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs
- Comfortable exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and occasional pet-related messes
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Prior kennel or animal care experience preferred but not required
- Strong passion and genuine love for animals
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a busy setting
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized
- Serving up meals and fresh water for pets
- Monitoring the health, happiness, and behavior of each pet
- Reporting unusual findings to managerial staff
- Supervising playtime and engaging with pets
- Assisting with grooming and bathing
- Handling laundry and pet belongings to maintain cleanliness
