Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift
- Willingness to handle exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and animal waste
- Strong communication skills
- Able to maintain composure in active pet care environment
Job Qualifications
- Passionate about animals
- Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus
- Cool, calm, and professional demeanor even in stressful situations
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to get hands dirty
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working on feet for entire shifts
- High school education or equivalent
Job Duties
- Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized
- Serving up meals and fresh water like a 5-star pet resort concierge
- Monitoring the health, happiness, and, yes, poop of every pet guest because details matter
- Reporting anything unusual to the General or Assistant Manager
- Supervising playtime, tail-wagging, and the occasional game of fetch
- Assisting with brushing and bath time
- Handling laundry and belongings so every pet has clean snuggly stuff
- Making tails wag
