Job Requirements
- must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently during shifts
- ability to stay on feet for the duration of the shift
- exposure to cleaning supplies and pet-related environments
- willing to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment
- must have a love for animals
- must be dependable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus
- strong love and compassion for animals
- ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor
- willingness to work hands-on with animals
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized
- serving up meals and fresh water
- monitoring the health, happiness, and behavior of every pet guest
- reporting any unusual observations to management
- supervising playtime and interactive activities
- assisting with brushing and bath time
- handling laundry and belongings to ensure cleanliness
